Every year our Round Table raises money for local causes. All of the money raised goes to the causes selected, no money is retained for administration costs as with some charitable organisations. As we are approached by many good causes seeking help, we always try to determine that the appeal made is genuine then we decide how we can help, whether by donating money, obtaining goods or services for the cause or by giving assistance ourselves. We obviously have limited funds available and we attempt to distribute those funds to the most worthy causes. We have an obligation to the public of our area who make donations to us, to insure that the money is spent well and to maximum effect.
