Stoke on Trent Wedgwood Round Table is twinned with Clermont Ferrand Table Ronde of France. Every year we have an exchange weekend where our two Tables meet up to party and experience each other's hospitality and culture - but mostly party!
In 2004 the members of Clermont visited Stoke and we treated them to our usual Potteries hospitality and plenty of beer. We arranged a Clay Pigeon Shoot for them and a trip to visit the Lord Mayor in his Chambers within the Stoke Civic Centre. We completed the weekend with a fancy dress party at Denry's restaurant in Burslem which went on until the early hours...
In 2007 we will be traveling to France where we hope to enjoy a typically French weekend - which could mean anything! In the past we have done everything from Mountain Biking to Flying around the mountains of the Auvergne in light aircraft!!
